I've ran through all the best case set combos I could find, and the two that stood out as best case are 1/4/7 sparring, and 1/2/4 sparring.

1/4/7 offers ~100 more crit and defence, while 1/2/4 offers about 1500 more HP. I prefer to sway towards the 1/4/7 build myself.

*Both builds are filled out with challenger for the remaining pieces, obviously.
