Scars, facial hair, hairstyle changes, perhaps a change in demeanor from experiences in game.

Ever since I became a tank, I started leaning towards a more rugged appearance. When leveling a tank, I'd usually apply scars and facepaints matching the armor they'd give me.
At first I started off with just a scar on the face and a few on the hands but now I've thought of scars almost head to toe, really.The "worst" being a long one diagonal from the left shoulder blade to right hip on her back.
Smaller and varied size scratches from battle and general combat would occur, but nothing is near the size of that one.
I just this it's a neat dynamic on a long and pale skinned [elezen] woman with a soft face to wear more casual attire and you can see the slightest hint of a scar that wouldn't suit a lady like herself with such poise and grace.
Over other characters I've had they all had the same scars, so it seems my fantasias always had a consistency. That's just me being a dumb sap over characters I make up, though.
