Chromie is good in the right hands with competent teammates. It's just two hard variables that most other heroes don't have.

Pretty sure you're able to play either, although Gall is probably recommended for the newer player.

Nowadays he's a regular buyable hero in shop, you both have to have him to play him.

Depends.
I tend to like the wall of skeletons because they can be an area-denial tactic. Drop it on an objective like the Raven tribute to keep the enemy away from it until your team gets there.
If they have a lot of squishies, Poison Nova is a great way to hit everyone and watch them die as they try to run away.

I find it odd that people get good at the micro before they understand the game and that many people don't ever bother understanding the game.

Things like how to defend, grouping up before a team fight, pushing towers and forts when the enemy is distracted, and when to take camps. After a few people should learn this kind of shit, be a lot of people don't. I've seen people camp the terror and dragon to keep other team mates from getting them and then not even know how to use them or that they are for pushing. I've seen people who get angry if you don't push all lanes evenly while the enemy team rolls down one lane toward victory. I've seen the opposite too, where the team was at a disadvantage and they could wrap their heads around the fact that having more siege minions pushing takes up slack.

How can people play this, or do anything for that matter, so mindlessly?

Uther really needs a tiny buff after the stun nerf. Just an increase to his healing would be fine.

Arcane Power has to be active when you cast Pyroblast. It doesn't do anything when you activate it while the fireball is traveling.

Gul'dan is going to be op as fuck, they released two terrible heroes with Chromie and Medivh so now they are going to have to release a super op hero that everyone needs to buy for the new season

First they nerfed his "absurd" waveclear (which was supposed to be his gimmick in the first place) to a pretty shitty lvl.
Then they nerfed his W by I think 20% or worse.
Both of those changes made him a pretty low tier pick.
And then they lately nerfed all iterations of Regen Master, which in his case destroyed the last part of his already low sustain and turned him into utter shit.

So THAT'S whats wrong with her model, I could never quite put my finger on it.

But Illidan's mouth-watering dragon has been in the game since release.

Chromie is the most relevant, and you actually interact with her far more than any of the other dragons in wow, she was also in the game before the other aspects.
