if you want to tank grab a shield
if you want to heal grab some water

it might get harder as you level so grab some cloth caster shit if you can, but at low levels it should be easy

warriors don't level as prot either, its only needed t lvl 55~

Awesome, I hear the first thing I should do is grab consecration, that true?, the lack of taunt scares me, but I really want to play a hybrid class and BE a hybrid class, not just be a healer.

I haven't played a pally in vanilla so I can't say for certain. But at lower levels even without a taunt you should be fine I think as long as you're holding aggro on most of the group or you're keeping people up.

At higher levels you will most likely get cucked into being a healer though

Palas are better than warriors for tanking 5 mans. Holding threat on multiple mobs is effortless and the single target is adequate for dungeons. You'll never tank raid bosses though.

Surely there must be people who have done actual heroic raid leading on retail over the years who can raid lead better than someone who only has experience from leading on some of the oldest content in the game.
I started levelling a character out of boredom but it looks like the state of things isn't the best judging from this general.
