I've never really put much though into it, to be honest. The image I have in my mind is more about espionage and infiltration, but also about stealth, so I'm guessing there should be a mechanic to manipulate people and move up the ranks of organizations, and also use stealth to help you out and maybe do the final hit.
This is totally going to be an OVA spiritual successor. There is no way they won't do that.

Actually, why doesn't SEGA commission/make more animated shorts? Valve does that all the fucking time, and it's easily one of the more popular and beloved things they do. It's a great means of advertising and endearing the fanbase to the characters.
