honestly he doesn't even use the 2H WA most of the time. pers is only really good against small weapon R1 spammers anyways, which are surprisingly infrequent at level 120, though they do happen occasionally.

also i'll try l2+r1 or r1+l2 combos with astora gs + offhand gargoyle fs tonight after dinner, and report back by responding to this post.

Are you on PC?

Basically make backup saves and if some cheater comes in you just pull the plug and start over. It's still incredibly rare for hackers to show up, and even if there were no hackers backup saves are incredibly useful (PvP at different levels, invade without caring about recollecting souls, infinite reuse slabs and respecs, etc) so there's no reason not to.

They're extremely weak to bleed. I'm pretty sure a single L1 from the Warden's Twinblades will bleed them out. If you don't have any bleed weapons, purchase some Carthus Rouge from the Handmaiden and slather it on your fastest weapon. Other than that, don't get too greedy. The beasts practically never stop attacking. Even the fastest weapons can barely get a hit or two in before it bites again.

Whoever said Lifehunt Scythe was buffed is a filthy liar. It's still just as slow and awful as ever. Takes almost two full seconds to swing at 40 dex, has fuckall range and zero hitbox. The healing is still fucking trash too unless it scales with spell buff or something because I was getting 63~ HP per hit.

Like I said, no reason not to do it anyways.

Backup saves are even endorsed by FROM, no reason not to make backups. I mean even if there were no hackers, make backups, they're very useful. Literally everyone should.

IIRC, the healing is a % of the damage dealt, and that % was buffed slightly along with the spell's actual damage with the latest patch.

I don't think the speed got changed which is silly because it's slower than goddamn Lightning Stake.

You get scaled down if you're outside of the host's normal summoning range.
I think our hosts usually host at 100 so they can pick up both 80 and 120

How good is pyro damage at 30/30 for PvP? I want to make a very stupid build that can still be somewhat viable. (Stupid as in only use fire whip and sacred flame for pyros)

Does the Havel's Greatshield WA (stone flesh, I believe it's called) add any weight like iron flesh does? Also have a couple other questions regarding it: Does the lingering dragoncrest ring influence the amount of time it stays active? and Do you need the str requirement for havel's GS in order to do the WA and still get the buff?
Just trying to determine if Havel's Greatshield would be better than just casting iron flesh and dealing with the weight gain.

twin princes is probably the best. Nameless is pretty ok in terms of ratio of hosts dying to not being retarded, but the fight takes a bit longer and there are more chances for you to fuck up.
