I had an actual question, but I'm sure the thread will be dead before it's answered

My entire guild are on WoW test center doing the scenarios. I think unless EA brings out something really good really FAST this game is going to be as empty as a lawyers conscience as soon as Legion hits.

WoW is making a habit of giant 14+ month no-content droughts. The WoD one is the only reason i came to SW which turned kind of dull after 4 months.

Me too. I couldn't stand hanging out in my garrison. So I came to TOR and made sluts.

Now I have hundreds of millions of credits, all the armor sets I want, all the vehicles I want, all the pets and everything else I ever wanted.

This is what worries me. ERP no longer interests me. Porn no longer interests me. This game no longer interests me. I haven't logged into TOR in about a week.

I am not even tempted to shitpost my sluts. I am fighting the urge to delete this game from my computer.

Why not give away some of that stuff? Other Anons have done it

So how bad is this game? I was thinking of playing through it since it was free, but if it's too stupid I'll play something else instead.

it's like WoW with lightsabers and no multiplayer content on a shittier engine. Main reasons to play:

-you can play dressup with multicolored alien women
-out of the hundreds of original characters in the game, a handful of them are kinda cool
-you can laugh at the hilariously bad bioware writing
-ERP

I have literally given away over a billion worth of credits and armor / vehicles.

It is so easy to make money in this game I don't know why more people aren't as rich as me.

If and when the time comes when I quit this game for good I will let you guys know (if there is a thread) and liquidate my assets again.

...I'm a relative latecomer to the game. I'm a 65 Jedi Consular on Ebon Hawk. No guild.

For the most part this game has been a single-player experience. I honestly don't mind it, because I enjoy the story and that I don't have to depend on others in order to progress. I enjoy that they allow me to focus purely on my class quest and ignore all the filler, really brings out the best of the game and which is a feature I think other games should incorporate.

The game receives quite a lot of hate and I'm not sure why. The most common criticism seems to be "I wanted KoTRIII." I don't really understand that, a well-executed MMO is always superior to a limited single-player game in my opinion.

I'm excited to be up to speed with everyone else. I just finished with the Revan expansion and I'm about to start KoTFE. It's just my speed and I enjoy it. I like Star Wars, I like my character, the game moves pretty quickly, it's a solid experience.

Just thought I'd give my take on things.

It's a pretty good single player RPG. I've done basically no multiplayer content so I have no opinion past that.

What's endgame like?

I have no idea. I've only finished the story missions up to the latest chapter of KotFE. It's an enjoyable storyline.

The mlp thread has a few writers but is kept alive by one story, and consequently discussion of and hype for said story. When its author went on break, the thread died without him. He's back and writing green on a nearly-daily basis.

because there are at least 2 very negative people that spam "kill yourself" and "loser" for anyone who does anything fun. They haunt this place like a ghost at disneyland haunted mansion and anyone who posts anything slutty or actiony or fun gets slapped down.

Star Wars vidya is in a deep rut. The only fresh content we have is the feeble trickle of KotFE episodes and the shallow gameplay and laughably overpriced DLC of Battlefront.
