Nah, I'm sure it's by design, something that they actually did right. There are perks that modify these things.

Unfortunately that was compounded by doing something very wrong which was make this a PC and not a console game.

If we can't have mods, communication, graphics customization and control customization, sound customization etc because of balance then I frankly don't get why the game was put on a platform where all that shit is the norm and expected instead of a platform where that would be the standard.

Also refusing to allow an audio customization is dumb because people can just mute the game from soundboard.

You need a specific set up of perks, one that only activates when you rescue someone and lasts for like 3 minutes but while you have that buff and the other perks, you absolutely 100% heal up without a medkit, faster than the killer takes to wipe his blade unless he has unrelenting

it's random once you get the first level of a unique perk, those are set levels

Bloodweb is completely random. The only 'stable' thing is teachable perks are coming after 30.

I think you get your first unique perk at 5, then the next at 10, then 15, and the teacheables at 30, 35, 40.

so when they try to unhook you just grab them and drop them and bam two are more or less out of the game and not fixing anything

Yep, I didn't get to rank 1 by helping people. I got to rank 1 by stealthily repairing generators and then escaping. Whenever I unhook someone I end up taking their place, or they just get hooked half a minute later and I sped up their death and reduced the camping time, hurting everyone.
