No. It only takes effect on market open. Your shares will be changed at a 4 to 1 ratio. You should still be at roughly the same equity you were yesterday on closing. Hype might drive up the new price a bit though.

There were no gains. RH fucks up and is slow about splitting and updating. It may have shown the updated stock quantity but with the old stock price. So in jnug case 1 stock at 300 would show as 10 stocks at 300 for a 10 1 split. It updated eventually to 10 stocks at 30.
