They might be good enough to win wild card though since we have 2 wild card slots. I still feel like 2 EU teams will take it. Vega, Empire, Secret, Alliance and below them is VP and No Diggity/No Escape.

So the Qualifier is gonna be DC/FDL/COL/EG + OQ and the two filler teams who probably won't win anything

The system is getting reworked or maybe outright removed. It clearly shows that they will reform regardless of the rule because they want a better chance of winning.
True, but the only 3 worth a shit are EG, CoL and DC and DC or CoL can definitely put up a fight in the Wild Card battle versus Chinese and Europe teams.

So all 3 teams that matter could still get in. Its the same logic of not inviting Fnatic, because they want to weed out SEA teams that aren't worth a damn

And other teams who may have been afraid of roster locks just watched 2 teams who placed last in the major blow through the open quals like they were nothing. Roster locks are fucked now.

Just because EG (a tier1/2 team) rolled through the qualifiers doesn't make every team in there tier4. There's a bunch of teams that are solid tier 3/2 and might give Col/DC issues
