>Anti-Fascist Protective Wall

DDR unironically called it that. Can't make this shit up.

Well since there was freedom of speech in the west there were probably also fascists there

>Anti
>Fascist
>Protection
>Wall

But I don't think fascists jumped the wall while saying "guys, let me tell you about the Third Position".

Man, I thoughy liberals were bad, but Russians call literally everything fascism.
And differently from liberals, they do believe everything is fascism.

There were revisionist elements in west Germany that threatened the worker's republic. A wall to keep those influences out was a good thing.

>t. Stalin

>Tankies
>Common sense

Where does the term 'Tanky' come from

youtube.com/watch?v=xyIF_C2h6rc

Stalin sent tanks to Hungary and Czechoslovakia.

Stalin was dead before both invasions.

Some part of me would have liked to live in the DDR. Can't be worse than post-war west Germany, as long as you don't talk shit about the government. Although, I would have probably become an activist to fight the destruction of 19th century architecture.

What I meant is that both invasions fulfilled Stalin's imperialist intentions. He wanted to invade since before WWII.

wut? Both countries were already more or less puppets due to them being liberated by soviets during ww2. They were invaded because they steered too far away with various reforms to the liking of moscow.

And yet somehow the former East German states like Saxony are the ones with the most support for the NPD, the "we're not Nazis honest! that's a Buddhist good luck flag and we're big fans of Charlie Chaplain!" party.

Stalin was dead but stalinists were cheering.

so it worked then?

>He wanted to invade since before WWII.
Source? Socialism in One Country?

Suvorov.

>let's fight revanchism!
>by making a shithole of the countries we defeated and trating their population as our hostages

solid message, vatnik

>the year is 2016
>there is still people that defends the complete joke called the USSR

wew lad

stop posting a revisionist who's been debunked by every other russian historian

How was he debunked?

he never posted proofs.

Who debunked him?

I wonder if there were people who actually believed that the wall was built to keep fascism out.

Ah yes, Suvorov, I remember one of his claims was essentially:

>"The BT tank was fast and you could take off it's tracks and drive it on the road! Germany had lots of roads! Therefore Stalin was going to attack Germany!"

Kys revleft shitlib

The wall part is correct though

They were actually two walls.

And outside of Berlin it was more like a fence.

Yeah, it fits the Voltaire meme.
