That's actually smart.
It's best to use money first on attributes instead of upgrading gear a lot.

Just settle for a +7 weapon and +4/5 armors.
Gems slots are cheap and gems are grinded not bought.

When your attributes start to cost 400k per percent then you can think of upgrading your armors/weapons more.

Highly upgraded weapons (like +12-15 with some potential left) cost crazy amount of money. It's a gamble since you can not upgrade it so far but there's a chance to get jackpot.

how does the accuracy reduction work? i can't find anything about it, does it scale on SPR or is it a fixed value? also what do you think of distributing krivis points like this?
