I just saw that this new thread was made, so I'm gonna repost.

I'm looking for a bit of information. I'm about to finish downloading the game in about 30 minutes. I quit after I got my 210 relic weapon, so I haven't played since 3.15

Just wanting to know what I should do in order to catch up. I read through the patchnotes and it seems that a few dungeons and some Aquapolis was added. Think it would be best just to do the MSQ? I saw some of the items needed for the relic so one of the first things I'm doing is getting the Aetheric Oil from Gift of the Archmagus.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The patch notes you are reading is Expansion content, you are still in ARR, there are a lot of sidequest and dungeons you can do, though, although some of it (like the 8man Raids) may be dead.

The MSQ has some neat stuff in it so you might as well do it. The bonuses from the dungeons and trials it throws out will help you just a little bit more. Same with any of the other side-stuff too.

After that Aquapolis is a pretty good way to get esos and stuff if you can get the maps and round up a PF or some buddies.

Definitely get the oil from the weekly out of the way too.
