That's because Paradox's AI is designed to go after the player, no matter what.

I've tried that tactic several times in the past, but he just replenishes his troops really fucking quickly
which probably means mercenaries, but hes almost always in debt when at war with me

nah. the kingdom of jerusalem has some juicy af provinces. i was playing with CK2+ which does give a unique treaty that lasts longer though i think.

Regardless within 3 years my vassal levies were more than capable of withstanding the crusades, let alone the islamic blob. personal levies was icing on the cake but pricey.

AI still broken, but at least it doesn't strategic redeploy as much and no more hotpocket

Light Tanks are recon units, it's basically a fast non-combat unit designed to cut supply lines.

Strategic bombing gives an insanely high amount of warscore, but if you save and load a game the warscore resets to 0.

Yeah I think there should be a way to prevent this shit from happening late game. I have like ~500k rebels pop up in my African colony in ethiopia/sudan/etc every 3-5 years

The problem with the east in CK2 is that even though the provinces are so damn big they're still just one province and the AI treats it as if it was the same as Paris next to Orleans.

Has anyone made the following argument to Paradox and the Devs (about EU4)?:

1. Having Non-Europeans have a huge Technology penalty is racist (to varying degrees - especially biased against Africans and Native Americans)
2. Makes the game unbalanced and unplayable for some regions
3. Is generally stupid in a strategy game and unprofessional. GOAT Strategy games like AoE, Civ and others didn't give arbitrary maluses to, for instance, The Zulu, Aztecs, Inca, etc.

I'm new here and trying to learn EU4 but it's so fucking stupid everyone outside of Europe is useless. Any mods to fix this problem? Thanks for any help. Any good youtubers to watch to help learn? I've been watching Quill18 and I like him and his personality a lot.

I dunno about EU4 but CK2 LITERALLY tells you straight up that the starting points are horribly unbalanced, and that this is intentional for historical accuracy.
Said accuracy goes out of the window once you unpause, of course.

I'd really like a new Fiat Miata (124 Spyder), but they took the easy route with the engine. I wish they made it slightly longer/wider and gave it a nice Italian V6 or small, high-revving Inline-6.
