Okay, so first impressions of XCOM Plus.

There's a tutorial for newbies.

The combat and levels are well designed.

The cutscene transitions are good, albeit compressed and blocky.

Menu layouts in the barracks work and transition well.

Mechanically, the game is the same as its counter part. Probably one of the best SRPGs you're going to get on here.

Anyone playing Gundam Breaker 3? Man I didn't expect this game to be such a clusterfuck in combat. The enemies come in packs of 6 or less but they have shit loads of hp and shoot out so much crap, the game's FPS becomes skippy since I have to constantly juggle the fuck out of them with my flashy moves (currently I use the double sabre tornado to bunch enemies up, then bullet rain them down before using infinite justice's mega lasers) because otherwise they just fuck my shit up.

So the early especially hardcore requires you to pretty much have already learned how to game the system. The easiest thing is to just fling *your weapon type* damage on your weapon and your arms and go nuts. It gets significantly easier later on after you've gotten a shit ton of parts.
