Did Anet make any changes to the camera or enemy targeting mode over the last 6 months? I came back to the game recently and tried playing my engie on an open world boss and the camera is just fucking awful now. It doesn't follow me when I run around and attack anymore, sometimes it even does 360 spins in the opposite direction.

Vanilla D/P Thief is as close as you can get to viable on F2P, not because D/P Thief is good, but because Daredevil is not a huge upgrade. The playstyle is not for everyone.
