For MvC2, if I just want to play locally with friends and none of us are "serious" about the game (e.g., we're just gonna get hammered and fuck around), which version is best? Arcade via MAME, Dreamcast emulation, or PS3 port? If Dreamcast, is it gonna play well with fight sticks? And what are the general differences between each version besides the obvious (e.g., Arcade has no training mode, PS3 has network play, etc.)?

There needs to be a committee dedicated to preserving the integrity and creative quality of the Street Fighter franchise and it's legacy.
I remember hearing a few years ago that Squate Enix assembled a committee to preserve the quality of the Final Fantasy series. The committee consisted of former employees if I recall. I thought this was a fantastic idea and should also be instated to preserve Street Fighter.

Akira Nishitani
Yoshiki Okamoto
Noritaka Funamizu
Hideki Okugawa
Hideki Itsuno
Isao Abe
Tetsuya Shibata
Yuki Iwai
Shinji Hosoe
Maybe it's far too late and something like this should have been instated 10 years ago. But at least with a committee intact composed of people who have worked on good games, the SF series won't be driven into the ground by Ono's whimsical and silly dream match games.
