What's the best way to train magic early levels as an Iron man? Just mind runes and hit shit with low level spells?

I'm 24 magic and only combat level 35. I can't do most the quests because of having to fight higher level monsters, plus I've done most the easy quests that give magic xp.

you can try at lower levels but you might only get scraps and junk

All I need really is enough to afford some starting things so junk is fine.

I thought the only way to make money as Iron man was to high alch stuff? I have like 30k gold so I don't think I could buy runes to level.

Well I levelled my agility to 58 because I went for Graceful, but my thieving is only at 30. Should I just spam thieving for a bit for money then?

You'd need like 58-60 thieving anyways if you want to do quests. Might as well do it. Then you can lvl up enough for nats from chest or do rc for nats. idk desu, never bothered with ironmeme. Maybe finding nats from shop is easier but them bots so...

Could I go range tank for pvp without having to worry much? Or should I just go full main by now. I want to get into pvp with some friends but I was already pushing to go as a main before the idea was brought up.

I wanted to go 60/60/75 melee then get my range and magic up to 80-90's. Yes or no? I also feel my hp may be lower than others but then again I'll have the defense to back it up.

yeah no. dont make a range tank.

if you wanna pvp nowadays you either do edge pking at bounty world, (1 def pures, zerks, voiders, dh, etc.} or you get 94 mage and nh fight. its really hard to find in between pking on pvp worlds and in bounty hunter

and if you're planning on wildy pking, be prepared to get piled by a team of maxed pures or maxed brids
