it sure worked in Iraq, where there are several ghost towns left in places that rebelled aganist Saddam. You can tell them by pile of dried up trees near abondoned town. They would pull out trees and left them to dry, and soon people would start abondoning town. Town with no trees won't survive long.
Some concepts are hard to understand for people living in temperate climate.
Wood is pretty expensive in ME, and cutting down tree to steal it is actually a very serious crime in there.

They are adding smoke, but don't get too excited. Considering the fact bushes are premium, smoke will be too and it probably won't work after a few metres like bushes don't. Difference is you won't be able to abuse smoke to hide your weakspots like you do with bushes. And although it was said that only countries that used smoke will get it, you can bet all nations will get them, just like how USSR gets desert camo for all tanks.

I did the same as , with JP and SU-122-54, same results. Post pen damage seems to be shit now. It's not only the damage that's the problem. I know where to aim to kill a T-44 (100mm mantlet weakspot next to the gun), but fucking shit is legit bouncier than ever before when you shoot it with an 88. I played both M46 and M47 earlier, neither bounced this much with 90mm APHE and they have a ton of less pen compared to the 88
