When you use a young white branch when being invaded, can the invader see your name?

When I'm wearing the shadow set, for 29.9% weight, I can be killed with all but the weakest of 3-stage ripostes.

When I'm wearing Lothric Knight, I can survive with a sliver of HP remaining from every weapon under 650 AR.

When I'm wearing Havel's, I can survive anything with around 35% of my HP left over. When I am hit with a riposte and still standing, most hosts instinctively panic, stop trying to parry and begin to play hyper-defensively.

Sure, absorption has little value in the meta brackets, but when all core stats are softcapped, underestimating heavy armor can get you killed in situations where you shouldn't, especially when trading against opponents with both parties using heavier weapons.

To be a viable sorcerer, you have to hold the candle in your main hand and court sorcerer staff in your off hand, while also wearing dusk crown ring and bellowing dragoncrest ring.

So after understanding how shit ds2 sorceries and pyromancies are compared to the current ones in ds3 i've decided to look at miracles. And holy shit now this is an atrocity if i ever saw one.
>lighting spear-type miracles in ds2 are even slower than in ds3
>no hyperarmor gimmicks for melee distance trades so you will NEVER land them in pvp, way too low amount to be really usable in pve unless you're on ng+ and pump your attunement like a last motherfucker
>blinding bolt, the only at least somehow original base game miracle, has no tracking at all, the only way to land it is by casting it in water and there's like 3 locations taking advantage of that
>force has no hyperarmor and doesn't cause hard knockdown making it useless for launching people off the briges
>wrath of the gods is as shit as in ds3 but there's no lighting stake-like miracle
>virtually the only good offensive miracle in the entire game is heavenly thunder which still has the same common weakness as all ds2 spells, 100% elemental blocking small shields on top of being random and only covering a set distance
>DLC only added two miracles one of which is just second chance, the other one is the worst offensive miracle in the entire franchize
don't know if i should even bother with hexes

I've played pure caster in ds2 for almost 400 hours, since release and until ds3 came out. After trying pure caster in ds3 i can confidently say, that magic in ds3 is a magnitude worse compared to ds2.
Miracles were pretty bad though, i would agree (in PvE, in PvP they were pretty good, thanks to body buffs working). Still, at least heavenly thunder was fun to use.
