You can turn off sprinting in the mod options, I strongly recommend it. The tourney participants all running around like fucking sanic is bullshit. Beyond that you just need to git gud.

I dunno. I tried it a bit one time, but couldn't get into it because I saw that it fucked with recruitment a bunch, and then I saw a bunch of shit like health regeneration, traits, abilities + abilities on units that boosted party skills, etc.

Didn't want to dick with that much interaction between everything. Seemed like it'd get frustrating.

Buying even dirt poor peasant troops is expensive, stolen assets everywhere that they didn't even bother to rename and seem out of place, Tourny system is bad

I'm wondering what your problem with the tourny system is.
I'm pretty sure it's the same one used in Floris, and I have no problem winning in that one, with 6+ points/match easily (I fight in 4 teams of 8) - and I don't have to killsteal to get points.

Maybe it's because I have it so the tournament level scales with me? I dunno if that's an option in Silverstag.
Then again, I also tend to not fight alongside allies because I acknowledge that they CAN steal my points, but fighting alongside allies has the benefits of you're likely to survive + win, which itself is worth 3 points. Beyond that, it seems like a pretty reasonable tournament environment.
I dunno, I feel like it's vastly an improvement on the vanilla tournament system which is just "team elimination". Kind of baffled anybody could dislike the new one, compared to the old one.

I'm playing 1257 and my country was in a war, but they're retarded and just ran around using the whole army to raid one village, which while fun, isn't productive at all. Then someone else came and eliminated the country we were warring with.

It's been several months now and all the marshal does is call us to gather, wait for a week or so then everyone disperses.

in the original M&B there was a quest you could do to defend the honor of married ladies. Lords would call the wives of other lords sluts, and you could duel them to make them retract their "slander." The quest is in warband also, but it is bugged to never trigger for some reason.
