I was the lonliest of solohunter in 3u. How was the end game there? It was considered to be somewhat easy, and with blast weapons, slingshots and execution squads of hbg, did people hunt a lot at the very endgame? Was there any monsters that caused a headache?

How "mandatory" is this gear for online play?

I gave MH4U a light touch when it first came out but never played online, but now I've preordered the MH N3DSXL with the intention of going extremely hard with generations, with online play and doing the top rank shit being the goal.

They're X's G rank, except only the hardest monsters. So Yes/Mostly

All of the P.Uragaan weapons are shite with blunt compared to other weapons, CB in particular gets so many high raw low sharpness options it's not funny.

3rd gen has a lot of monsters that 4th gen lacks, anything past that is filled with shit monsters with awful hitboxes.

There's no point to playing FU anymore when 4U and Generations combined have pretty much all the monsters worth fighting from gens 1 and 2.

Probably another 4th gen game considering the proximity of reveal to release.
