Yea I agree, the art is good but the games are pretty bland.
I remember thinking the lewdness progression in Salvation was whack. It feels sudden and random. All you do is walk around trying to talk to everybody with all your costumes to try and trigger scenes. Where's that user that always cries about suspension of disbelief, because I always feel the same way about Clymenia.

Anyone else played 魔王イリスの逆襲? Highly recommend it. The art is great, story is good, there's lots of scenes, window is stretchable and the heroine(s) are voiced. The only downside is slightly sluggish (can improve that by forcing a windows xp compatibility (I think)).
