Hirez way of getting away with absolute bullshit is so subtile. Make a male god strong like buck or barik then make his ass a one trick pony because retards can't handle tanks being anything else than walking punching bags. But make a female character absolutely AIDS that cannot die with some skin exposed and no one will bat an eye. Same thing with smite, we hear so much shit about Thor Raijin Susano or Hou yi. Paladins character are designed to be a lot more "impactful" than Smite tbqh. I mean, take Androxus last patch. Great damage, mobility, the ability to reflect, etc.

Its better this way, in smite characters started off with pretty basic kits and then got progressively more and more bloated until we finally got shit like Raijin.

It went from, "X does damage in a big circle."
"Y does damage is a big circle plus it does Z."

If all the kits start "bloated" then they're not bloated, they're normal.

you can't deny that female gods don't require any sort of smart play at all. The kit itself completely forgives any mistake and you basically have to let it do the job for you . Try to play a male god honestly I'm no even joking you have to calculate your move, position yourself, bait actives and escapes and even if you do outplay them it doesn't matter if they have like ten hp left, their ridiculous burst will come up sooner than yours and one shot you. Miss something as a male god die, miss something as a female god, nothing happens. This is how it goes with hirez.

Because Skadi's only negative is the fact she has no hard escape/mobility. Since most SPL games didn't end soon enough or late enough for that thing of hers to not be an issue (slower rotations, for example), it was a safer to pick less impactful, weaker yet 'faster' hunters.

If you've ever played League, she's the Kog'maw/Vayne - She dominates the lane and snowballs from there but is limited in helping other lanes if they're losing.

I've never played LoL and only watched a very small amount of it but I understand the concept from DoTA where you can draft toward early team pushes and end the game fast.
The thing is I don't think Skadi can get enough of an advantage before falling of over hot picks, just like Chaac. The otehr reason she is considered "bad" is that not only she don't have hard escapes but also has no CC immunity in her kit, that make her very vulnerable to ganks and I think it's something that would counter her ability to pressure in lane if the enemy draft high mobility/early game jungler, like Thor.

Xing is stupid fun to play, nothing is more status dying than hitting sprint and using his 3 to close the gap on the enemy team on retreat and smash that ult and throw their asses right back towards your team.

Also the nobility of using your ult to throw the ganking jungler that just popped into lane away from your fellow dying duel-laner on retreat

Xing feels far too nerfed now. Like Ah Puch, he's playable but feels painfully weak.
