Last time I played was about a month after release. Bots were still a problem and NCSoft was fucking up left and right. Tons of people complained about premium benefits being worth fuck all.
I ended up quitting because questing was mind-numbingly boring. How's the state of the game now? Were any improvements made?

Feels like less bots, and I've heard there's pretty much none in arena now! Premium benefits still are a bit lackluster.
Some servers still seem very lively (Mushin, Jiwan, Poharan), but the questing system is still the same, so unsure of what to tell you! Leveling is pretty fast, though, at least. And since Soul Fighter was just released, low level zones feel alive again.
In any case, if the combat system isn't enough to entice you early on, perhaps the game isn't quite your style! End game is a bit grindy when it comes to upgrading gear, so you'd have to be in the mood for something like that, too.

There aren't many people left on Yehara. You may want to reroll on a more populated server and join one of the clans there. Having people to talk to makes questing to 50 less of a bore.
