There's a secret counter prompt when fight Grace and Glory. From what I gathered, in order to trigger this Counter you have to either get hit or bat/moth within an attack from Grace (or another Glory, doesn't matter) while at the same time having Glory idle in the background (read: him doing nothing, not being in the middle of an attack animation, etc). Now depending on the enemy AI, whether he feels like it or not, Glory will then grind his claws together and throw one of them in your general direction, a "Counter" Y+B prompt will then appear on screen for half a second

I'm new to this series, only played SV and Deep Crimson. Am I missing out on anything important story-wise by not playing the first game and Burst?

Burst has the best story and character interactions out of all of them. But the framerate is pretty terrible across the board.

burst is the first game you fucking wombat

The Hanzo story in SV is very similar to the Hanzo story in burst, only with a few plot points missing, shittier villains and no real final boss. It's not the same by a stretch but if you played SV before Burst like I did you will notice huge similarities.
I would recommend, however, getting burst to play the Hebijo story. I think it's pretty safe to say that nearly everyone here that played it thinks the Hebijo story in burst is the best story in the series.

The game runs like ass but if you have a hacked n3DS you can overclock it to make the framerate MUCH more stable
