So is matchmaking ever going to exist? A forced team shuffle at the start of each game would be nice at the very least. Way too many games start out as a 3v6 or worse because half of one team left after teams were made in the fucking lobby.

That's not too bad. They need to actually aim well with the Garand in order to be useful and you can also see enemies through smoke if you're close enough.

I didn't know there was an extra objective in the pre-alpha. It looks interesting, I would also prefer to have that one instead of the EV repair phase.

The entire game was originally aimed at battlefield fans, so that might be intentional.

i always figured the game was aimed at brink players who wanted a game that was actually good.

The aim was to convert 8 year olds who have never seen a FPS before into Dirty Bomb players.

Brink wasn't that huge of a seller. Battlefield is since it is basically the new call of duty. Notice the desaturated visuals in and the audio design choices.
The one thing, if any that I took away the most from my game design classes is that every game has an intended audience, unless you are a totally clueless indie dev like Jason Rohrer.
