I feel like ODST's campaign is really underrated. The characters were a little meh, but the levels had a lot of variety, and the aesthetic was a nice change of pace from H3.

Halo 5 is completely different from halo 4 gameplay wise. Nearly everything was redone, in a very good way.

Maybe I'm remembering it with rose tints, haven't played through the entire thing in a while. I don't recall the animations being particularly bad. But on a purely gameplay level I'd say it's in the top three halo campaigns. But Uplift Reserve and Kikowani Station are great-tier, at least.

My favorite Halo was 3 and Reach has my most play time. How does Halo 5 compare to 3 besides the obvious new weapons and abilities.

It's more similar to 3 than 4 was. Everyone starts out with AR an pistol, there is no more armor abilities, loadouts, perks, killstreaks, classes, or kill-cams. Just map knowledge and picking up power weapons off the floor.

Loadouts are only in Warzone now and perks are different to how they are in 4. Pro Vision is neato but I wasn't too big a fan. Been rocking the thrusters since day one.
