Why do some people say tether grabs are reactable? Most of them are frame 12, but since there is a 7 frame delay in this game, you only have five frames left where you can react. Spot dodge is intangible from frame 3, meaning you must have reacted before the tether grab has been our for 2 frames, and jumpsquatting takes way too many frames. Anyone who says it's reaction are bullshitting, it's all prediction.

I know most of you guys don't actually play, but how do you actually git gud at Smash?

Play ROB

Keep playing, experiment with all of your moves and your movement options, see what works. Also see what your opponent likes doing in certain situations, when they like to air dodge, roll or whatever, what they do in response to your attacks and movement.
Figuring out your opponent is the most important thing. If you can constantly avoid their attacks, by being out of range or blocking or anything, and you can keep racking up damage on them, it won't matter that they or you can do perfect pivots or anything.

Yeah, in retrospect, I feel like I overrated Yoshi, Megaman, and maybe Olimar, and maybe underrated Marth and DK

I like Roy a lot, he's nimble and hits like a truck, has some decent strings, I just think he can't approach. Shulk is tons of fun, but I feel like his biggest strength is honestly matchup unfamiliarity. Once you see past his flashy Monados, his lag and abysmal startup render him obsolete. Palutena I could definitely see moving up, especially with people like Prince Ramen repping her.
