I have no idea. There are a millon bad scenarios, but I'm not sure what's the worst one. Probably them ditching Modern, or doing something really bad with him like a meme game or something like severely screwing up their personalities even more, or something completely boring. Or a redesign, oh god.

So yeah, I think I'm probably screwed, it's hard for at least one of those not to happen.

OCs in and of themselves don't have to be a bad thing, the reason why people hate OCs is because they are more often than not self-insert characters who exist so the creator can feel more important than established characters.

Bump and Sage are fine since they're basically just inoffensive mascots. SuperDude the HyperFoxDragon who's more powerful than Shadow and fucks all the hot girls is what people think of when they hate OCs.

G.U.N has always been a separate faction in all media they feature in. They're more or less the Neutral to the FF's Good and Eggman's Evil.

King Acorn caught on before any serious damage was done but then Eggman was in charge of the place until Sonic took over the place and rescued King Acorn.
