I managed to get up to 50, lost a close match, and then it has been downhill ever since. Every game I see a fucking Torbjorn or Bastion, even when the enemy 4 inches from getting the payload to the last point, these fuckers still go Torb and Bastion.

So they can experience the taste of home and I can impress them with my knowlege of superior Mexican food.

I consistently got 3-4 gold medals every round and was on fire the majority of matches. Pretty sure you get graded on individual skill as well, lots of shit go into the algorithm I'm sure

Does your rank change based on wins/losses or your performance?

I wound up being 45 after the 10 placement matches, I got 2/3 gold medals each match for the most part but I still lost 5 of them, it's gonna suck if I'm dragged down by poor teammates since I can see it turning into a vicious cycle.
