Yoshida barely designed any gear even in 1.0, and he's mostly credited for environment concept art, key art, NPC designs and art of others' designs. arcanist is unique since it leads into 2 jobs so you can level 1 thing and have both dps and a healer leveled

just play what seems appealing to you though desu senpai

arcanist is useful in that you'll get a DPS and a healing job out of leveling it, and scholars are pretty much always in demand.

archer is fine, bards and machinists have guaranteed spots in eight man content that matters, more or less, though it turns into a proc fest once you get rivers of blood.

monk is pretty much the highest single target DPS in the game and fairly simple to play, also rather enjoyable in my opinion.

you can't tell me what i should and shouldn't do i will, also handlebars has 10/10 quality pets would recommend.
