Posted this in the last thread, but for the Juri players trying to wrap there heads around the changes.

Ive been messing around with her in story mode. You can't directly combo out of her fireball, but you can trigger cancel it. Her new gimmick seems to be stringing her specials together almost directly. Iirc, you can cancel fireball directly into qcf hk and it connects. Its situational but you can also cancel fireball into qcf Mk and then connect with a normal after that to extend the combo. She can get like 35-40% meterless using these tactics. I was pissed off about the changes as well until I started practicing with her, you just have to accept she is a different character now. Also, her vskill is chargable and dash cancelable and if you press vskill again while she is dashing forward before the first hit, it will cancel itself fast enough to get a mixup in.

Really missing her divekick though

I should point out that MKX's netplay has improved a lot with the XL patch, which isn't available on PC where this guy was testing.

GGPO is still the best though.

So, what are the best options for a gamepad for primarily fighting games but also other 2d games in like the fairly cheap price range? Talking like the 15/25 bucks price range.

I've been checking out some options but I can't seem to get any consistent reviews for any single one, so, thoughts?

Hori Fighting Commander. Not the weird asymmetrical one. Been using it so far and its pretty great for fighters and 2D platformers with tight controls. Fortune Summoners/Cave Story/La Mulana.

That's all combo stuff, not really what makes the character interesting outside trainingboaring.
