I've lowered my sensitivity after watching a shadowplay video and realising how fucking shaky my aim is. My problem seems to be keeping track of people after dashing through them or ulting. Is it just all about practice or is there specific things I should be looking to do or not do?

Combo that shit together. RMB to Melee to Dash can do some serious damage in a pinch.

Stay at range until you're ready to go for a close kill. Even then, keep at range and harass as much as possible. Get used to the travel time on them throwing stars.

For me it was practice, I still sometimes lose track of people when ulting but it's happening a lot less than before.

Genji in general is a character that requires a fuckton of practice. Just make sure you understand how he works and how he should be played (watch Seagull or Shadder2k) and then practice, and eventually you should get better.

Map knowledge and using his movement is also very important.
