1. "Baroque" is not a time period, but an artstyle.
2. Baroque architecture is horrid.
i'm literally vomiting from my eyes right now
only nouveau riche chinks or saudi oil princes think that shit looks good.
Now is the best time period.
Whats with the blobby columns?
it represents the rich jizzing money all over the place.
Islamic Golden Age
In astronomy (eg. observatories, zij), mathematics (eg. algebra, decimals, etc), medicine, alchemy/chemistry, optics (Alhazen), mechanics, geography and cartography (eg. al-Idrisi's map), botany and zoology, geology, agronomy, navigation (eg. astrolabes), mining, metallurgy (eg. cast iron, damascus steel), and various other subjects and technologies Muslims were far more advanced. And yes, that includes Arabs and Moors, not just Persians.

Baroque is shit. Classical/neo-Classical and Second Empire style are the best.
End of Franco-Prussian war until 1914 is the GOAT
mid 80's to mid 90's
absolutely halal
To all those slagging off Baroque architecture, I suggest you graduate from babby aesthetics. It is the architectural and musican manifestation of the counter-reformation. It's the period in Art when the Catholic Church told architects, sculptors and musicians to go all-out, bend the rules, impress and impose, amaze and terrify its flock. It was one of the coolest propaganda movements that have ever existed and the results are amazing. It's basically the Renaissance on steroids (or acid). Google "Bernini" and "Borromini", listen to some vivaldi and if you're still not convinced watch Waldemar Januczczak's "Baroque". It's a fucking amazing documentary.
>t. uneducated person
it is underrated
Make that early 80s to mid 90s
t. can't detect shitty jokes autist
1975 to 1989 is the best period because personal computer rise from nothing to prominence. All the great and original things are invented in these 20 years. There are no significant innovations in computer technology after 1990. Companies are competing with each others to create products that are faster, smaller, use less power, but there are no real innovations.
I pick these 8 products as the greatest innovations during this time period:
Apple I computer
Visicalc
Word Processor
Turbo Pascal
Apple Macintosh with GUI OS and mouse
Internet
Browser
E-mail
You don't have a lot of people to talk to do you?
I agree with this, if you don't like dying it's probably one of the best periods
>look at pic
>think "projectile vomit and diarrhea"
That is horrendous.
