>OVERCASTING SPELLS Double click a spell (it needs to be a boostable spell and you need to have enough magic in the magic pool) to overcast the spell There's a 50% chance that the caster damages itself though!
>QUEST BATTLE TELEPORT Select your lord (make sure he isn't garrisoned or in a stance) Select the quest battle (on the map or through quest log) There's a button in the bottom right of the quest battle window that you can use to teleport for 5k gold (when the battle's finished you're automatically teleported back to your original position)
>GROUP ATTACK Group units with ctrl + g Select your group and right click the enemy All your units move and automatically direct themselves to and engage enemies they get close to while maintaining formation
Any. If you fought with honour you'd only take melee units.

>Having some downtime in the Border Princes >Decide to invade Tilea. >Tilea are all by themselves, I have my Dwarf allies of Karak Izor on my side. >I underestimate their strength, they rush me over the Vaults and across the Black Gulf. >Massive WAAAGH! from attack me. >Peace out, march back to fight the Greenskins. >Karak Izor fights on like the stubborn Dwarfs they are. >Heavily fund the Dwarfs, but both Tilea and Izor near destroyed anyway, eventually Tilea gaining the upper hand. >tfw the last bastion of Izor is snuggled as an enclave inside my lands. >A couple of dozen turns go by, Izor sends the stack or two to reclaim their lands with varying success. >Tilea breaks our friendship treaties and marches across my lands to finish them off.
Fucking !Italians. Their army has encamped at the ruined hilltop abbey of Vista Sangraile, with no idea of how screwed they are. I let this proxy war go on for far too long, those Dwarfs and Tileans could have been better spent united against the Greenskins or Chaos, but instead I accidently created War of the Beard 1.2

Here comes the Knights of the Myrmidian Princes Confederacy. They are utterly surrounded.
Adrian Howard
The skaven have snipers?
Cooper Jenkins
I had decent success with a similar one. Deathstar is better though.
Aaron Morris
Jezzails, long barreled muskets from asia and mordor
Ryder Russell
they're called Warplock Jezzails apparently
>Warplock Jezzails are long-barrelled rifles that fire a high velocity bullet made of refined warpstone. Due to their length, Jezzails can fire an incredible distance and still strike with enough force to punch clean through even the toughest armour. If the target does not die from their injuries, they will quickly succumb to the toxic effects of the warpstone that hit them. Of course, such power does come with a price and Jezzail teams have often found themselves on the receiving end of return fire. As a result they will often be found hunkered down behind a large pavise, which is a convenient resting place for the heavy gun as well as adequate protection for the crew.
Caleb Myers
You know what never makes sense to me. >A province rebels and filled entirely with elite units that are rank 9.

what are the chances CA does something great release all three elven factions in one expansion?

Wtf is a deathstar?
Did I almost come across some special army?
Blake Rivera
After doing some tests it turns out that you actually can.
In large battle, the maximum affordable artillery loses to a flood of pikemen
It's like the eastern front all over again and it's not even winter.
David Butler
heroes dying from full health while the rest of your army takes tiny losses, its quite irritating, but nowhere near as much as the reinforcements bug
I think I'll just wait for the patch again, but probably not, because there is nothing at all to play
Nicholas Fisher
>Wtf is a deathstar?
It's certainly no moon
Joshua Scott
get an extra necromancer, drop zombos get more hexes and skellies, use the heal skill, win easily
Robert Watson
I love VC Dire Wolves so much
Matthew Fisher
1. They're cute 2. Because of they're all smug and haughty, seeing them down is so amusing 3. Hence, they're prime bullying material
Jaxon Evans

Just search for it on Youtube. It's a very powerful VC tactic.

So another thing on Skaven lore, I remember someone asking a few threads ago, something important that wasn't mentioned are the greater clans. They each have a specialty, and rent their troops out to lesser clans. (Like the one the player hypothetically uses.) They all have someone in Vermintide.
There's (And correct me if my spelling is wrong, it's been a while)
Eshin, who are literally ninjas. The gutter runners are their main troops, faster than regular skaven, but they fight in loose formation and are vulnerable to a straight up fight. They also have assassins who are good at wounding or killing heroes and can be hidden with the clanrats to pop out at you.
Moulder, the beastmasters. The grabber rats and Rat ogres are from moulder, they also have packs of giant rats.
Skyre is mad scientists, the make the Ratling guns, along with the jezzails in OPs pic, and their other various demented machines which tend to blow up.
And Pestilens, who are into plague and disease, obviously. They have the poison wind globadiers, as well as plague monks and cencer bearers. Nurglesque.
So the four factions are competing while selling their stuff to the various lesser clans all scrambling for power.
Also, on topic: Does anybody use pure cavalry stacks? I've been thinking of having one to support my more balanced attacks, but I haven't been able to pull it off in my Orc campaign because I keep getting distracted... it's maiden voyage, "Operation escort my new Arachnaroxi to the front lines" turned into a battle... barely edged out a big dwarf throng with none of the spiders and many goblins dead, which is pretty ideal.

How difficult would it be to mod warhammer to have a similar recruitment and economic system of the older games?
Owen Morgan
Found it, wow. I barely even use invocation of nehek, it seemed like a waste of magic when I could use more powerful spells like that one demoralizing one and boost my units' attack and speed.
I didn't know I was going into cheese territory
Lincoln Wood
>tfw he left his artillery undefended >Haven't fed the dire wolves for a week

I'll be honest reading the first line in your post I thought you were going to talk about how the rats had a mad max society where there was Gas Town, Bullet Town, etc
I appreciate the lore though
Josiah Smith
What system do you exactly mean by that?
Which "older" games do you speak of?
Thomas Baker
is there a way to recolor your army
Henry Brown
it's somewhere in the options but you don't get to pick which colour
Isaac Morgan
Allowing you to split forces, units recruit in cities, no auto replenish, cities having more than 3 building slots etc. Even empire's wealth system was pretty cool.
Josiah Ortiz
>no auto replenish Why the fuck would you want that?! I wouldn't mind the other ones, but auto replenishing is purely positive imo.
Jackson Young
Hope to at least get some major news this month. Blood Knights were supposed to be there in the first place and while the blood is amusing it wasn't much of an update and the units balanced are either still not worth their cost (I'm looking at you entire chaos roster) or the opposite.
Disappointed 80% of magic users are still bad, only missiles and direct damage is still impactful.
Give me news joey
Logan Fisher
auto replenish eliminates campaign army management/strategy and unit preservation and makes mercs worthless
Justin Morgan
>tfw no army painter
Levi Evans
No.
AFAIK, Can't
Christian Martin
lewd
Landon Nguyen
Does anyone have the rolling chart for Attila please?
Christian Gutierrez
I don't agree. It takes some time to replenish, so mercs are still useful, especially to soak casualties and in enemy territory. In the old games the lack of replenishing just resulted in a lot of unnecessary walking back and forth to replenish, and generally unneeded management that slowed down the game.
Liam Gray

Would have rather 60 felbats or 25 direwolves IRL?
Henry Miller
13 direwolves and 30 felbats
Nathan James
What would you need both for?
Daniel Jenkins
12,5 direwolves
Grayson Bell
I'd rather have a vampire desu

Just ate a bunch of painkillers, what should I play?
I'm open to gelt, kimmler, orc, or a napoleon/empire campaign.

The vampire would have you.

Surely there must be other types of games that are more suited to playing while high on painkillers.
