This feels way too fucking cluttered.
Is there a place where people share their layouts, like on plebbit or something? I feel like my monitor isn't big enough for this shit.

I think priff is really pretty, defos best city in rs. I also think rs does snowscapes really well. Im glad they moved away from medieval + orcs and goblins and moved towards gods, crazy magic, and general funness and fourth wall breaking. Makes it unique and it might save the game. Because the graphics and gameplay certainly won't.

slim headers and tab your shit instead of having everything separated

You don't need to see all your melee abilities at once
You don't need to see all your ranged abilities at once
You don't need to see all your defence abilities at once
You don't need to see all your magic abilities at once
There is no need for the skill tab to be that wide
Worn equipment is doing nothing but using space, plus you don't need to see your equipment all the time

1. Skills tab, not combined and just taking up space when you dont need it active.

2. All combat style tabs active at the same time

3. Worn equipment and backpack not combined

4. Obnoxious sizing for a lot of things.

This is a very weirdly-shaped monitor, but I've pretty much had it all my life so I just dealt with it.

turn on slim headers
Remove your friends list tab, unnecessary
Add your skills tab to another window like equipment, it's taking up a ton of space and you dont need to have that info on screen at all times
Get rid of your ability tabs except magic (or compress them into one) and put your most used abilities on a second action bar (prayers too if you're dying for more space)

I've seen people who have like a fuckton of ability bars open at once, where it's kindof reminiscient of WoW. How do I do something like that? I would like to see all of the abilities that I use frequently at once so I don't have to cycle through a bar of 12 abilities or so every time I want to change combat styles.

Go into settings and play around

revo only works on your main bar though, so you'll still have to switch bars when you change style

Unless you're a full manual autist in which case enjoy carpal tunnel

If I turn on Revolution I wouldn't concern myself with switching combat styles or skilling.

You don't need all those abilities at once. You can also right click and switch ability bars instead of pressing the arrows.

You can add multiple ability bars to screen, somewhere in settings

Maybe you're just shit.

Cooldown animation starts when anticipation is fired, if you dont see it then fire again.

Rs isnt exactly renowned for shit registering properly. You still have plenty of time though.

Personally i find playing on min settings makes shit work a bit quicker maybe give it a try

It just seems odd that it always fires fine when clicked but not if I hit the key, even with the exact same timing.

Also killing things with a 2hander feels so satisfying, and I've found out is the easiest way to power level melee.

Use the skull thingy to teleport to the chest but beyond that you need to walk.
