If you win, you have an infinitesimally small chance to get a good piece of loot, so again why bother, and it is designed for thousands of people at a time to participate, with no downscaling if the scheduled time is just shit and only like 1000 people bother to show up.

Make the rewards worthwhile, and people will come, it's that simple.

I've broken all my SR gacha weapons and I'm nowhere near the 150 needed.

Back when coop was just released, almost no one plays it except the grinder japanese players. It only gets crowded once they released the extra jobs. They didn't even change anything except adding more extra levels.
That's the reason why i think rank 4&5 will contain new jobs, or at least items needed to buy new jobs.
