If anyone's on the lookout for a new twinstick shooter with roguelite elements, I got Neon Chrome this sale and I surprisingly like it. Not the greatest shooting and not fast paced enough to my liking, but some neat ideas and it's really fucking polished. Plus, destructible environments means you can really stealth your way through shit.

prioitize lvl 2 teleporter, you need at least a lvl 2 to prevent your crew from suffocating to death when they board oxygenless ships. Upgrading the medbay to lvl 2 is actually useful since otherwise you crew won't be fully healed by the time the cooldown for the teleporter is up.

Focus engi and slug sectors to bully them for being shit at crew combat

The Jackhammer makes dodging the Captain's bullet patterns trivial because of how it's designed to destroy every bullet it touches, so you can take your sweet time chipping away at her health and well-being without a care in the world. Use your noggin, user.

I've tried melee for the captain before, I started the fight using a melee weapon, and I died in less than a second, I can only imagine that using the jackhammer on her would be an absolutely awful idea if you consider the fact that she can charge/punch you. I beat it really easy as crystal though, then again, crystal IS an easy mode character, right?

How do we fix the WEAPONS in Nuclear Throne?

There's nothing to fix except for lightning weapons

Lightning damage is still bugged. You can only have one hit in a frame making anything other than the lightning pistol and rifle useless ammo wise. Plus the whole not being able to hit Throne II in 0-1

allow melee damage to stack. I hate getting eagle eyes only for it to gimp my shovels

You could add more Hybrid weapons past the first loop.
I.E Pop Gun is a hybrid weapon, so is the Jackhammer, Flame weapons, etc.

I suppose the instant projectile versions of weapons are the "bolt" version, but meh.
Generally there is very few bolt versions of weapons, while Energy and Explosion HOARDS hybrid weapons.

Is this bait? Gungeon weapons are all mostly the same feeling. Just slapping a cool sprite on top of a gun that does the exact same thing as the others doesn't make it interesting.

No, gungeon. The same gimmicks are repeated over and over with each gun and they all wind up feeling the same with a handful of exceptions.

Also NT's guns have way more punch to them whereas gungeon always feels like I'm using peashooters, which about 60% of the weapons are anyway
