Roughly the size of Mei's ice sphere of doom, the closer it is, the more damage it does. Problem is, the higher up you go, the more people know how to expect it and shoot it down before it even gets close, requiring you to be crafty and drop it on them where they least expect it.

How would you guys feel about a character that took other people's weapons off their corpses? There'd obviously be weapons they couldn't use (see: Bastion's, D.va's, probably Reinhardt) but they could grab them for a few seconds after someone dies and have a base weapon of a tic-tac pistol like Mercy or something.

Really fucking hard to balance but it'd really depend on his kit. Like imagine if it's a fast character and they pick up a fully charged zarya rifle.

I was thinking maybe not letting them have the 'perks' of the weapon? i.e, no Zarya charge, no scoping on Widowmaker, so on.

Actually all things considered blizzard have done a shit ton. They fixed widow and mccree on PC while fixing torb (although there were better ways to go about it) for console players. They are looking into heroes that are hardly played like D.Va to see if there's anything they need to do to fix them. At the same time they've been pretty vocal about what they intend to do in the near future regarding fixing competitive.
They've literally communicated with the overwatch scene more since release than valve has done with CSGO in years.
