Tinker is snowball core which is why bloodstone is so important on him. Since he cannot carry in a traditional sense and he can't hit buildings it's extremely important that he is alive for all fights. Being able to save your buyback on tinker is huge because again as a core he's reliant on winning teamfights entirely so his team can push.

>slots Tinker is a slot whore, once he's past the 20min mark he should always have a full inventory. If your tinker has a soulring in fights at the 40min mark then you've already lost. You have to remember that the downside of soulring is that it costs HP, early game this isn't an issue because tinker has infinite bottle charges. As the game progresses tinker replaces his bottle and the constant HP removal is a risk. Also you don't buy another soulring so you can take it to fights, you buy it so you can stash all your items in base and then soulring and regen faster or to farm a bit faster in the jungle. You don't take it to fights

The progression is:
Null + regen Soul ring BoT Blink/Euls (both, situationally)
That's your core for 20-25 mins. Slots are going to be: BoTs, SR, Blink, Euls.
Then you open up options for a 5th slot: >dagon if stomping/against squishies like TB or PA >shivas if against 4+ melee >agha if playing from behind and need to spam rockets from HG
Last item is almost always sheepstick, filling out all 6 slots. At this point, BoTs II or selling SR for another mana item becomes a possibility - once tinker has sheep he has enough mana to safely ditch soul ring.

The most you can deviate is not going euls, but rather aether lens - that's really down to personal preference, but I find that infinite CC at the 25 minute mark is absurdly strong. Just continuously lifting a core while shitting out rockets is super strong.

Bloodstone is bad because Soul Ring does it's job better because TINKER HAS THE MOTHERFUCKING REARM. You need to have space of 12 and a half seconds between rearms and subsequent Sacrifices (the sr active name) for the bloodstone to make the same mana gain, and Tinker doesn't fucking wait, he rearms and spams spells until he runs dry then spends the refractory period dipping his gnome dick in the fountain.
