push words onto the stack, and upon encountering certain grammar structures, pop words off the stack and then combine them to determine their meaning

That's the main organizer/translator. There have been a few other translators that have been helping out with that project as well, and the main organizer seems pretty adamant on Twitter about it being strictly a fan project.

Also, they've been pretty good about releasing partials whenever they make decent progress. So who knows? Better to expect nothing though, I suppose.

It's a difficult situation. After reading the comments I feel like most of the people aren't upset that they ended up giving the TL out, but they're upset that they have to pay Dovac and his cronies to support the original publisher.

The VN community is autistic as fuck and they don't forget slights against them. Sekai fucked up numerous times with PR, delays, and censorship and people remember that; grudges go a very long way. People are more likely to not purchase it out of spite even if it means that they also won't give money to the original publisher(s). After all, they can always support the original publisher(s) via purchasing it through imports, buying their merchandise, etc. and then just pirate the game later on.

The person who shat all over Flower's awful initial translation eventually recalled his statements after seeing the latest progress on Flower's. It is supposedly in a much better place now than it was when the original demo came out.

Nekopara and Karakara can't really be said to be representative of the fanbase in general because tons of faux weebs love that shit but they don't care about the medium in general. Nekopara especially sells like hot-cakes mostly due to how absolutely cheap it is and the meme status built up around it provided by streamers and other e-celebs.

Well yeah, he'd recall his statements on a shitty translation after it gets retranslated. Point being, that was a major slight (Jast essentially hiring someone who doesn't know Japanese and making a pure guesslation patch), and it was forgotten.

When I mentioned Nekopara and Karakara I'm talking about how popular it is even in this thread. Cleaned, Sekai projects slights are not a big enough deal to not play their games.
