This is why MMR is so absurdly fucked right now and why 120 or so people are spread across 75 to 83. Playing support is already unsatisfying and teams already have problems getting someone to go Lucio or Mercy, and this just makes matters even worse.

Bastion is almost as bad as Hanzo in terms of games being over before they started. All it takes is one Genji or reaper to make sure he's absent from the entire round. He is maybe the hardest countered hero in the game.

Healers get less because if the DPS is good they'll take less damage and need less healing, so you do less healing and compared to other people playing the same healer you're 'bad'.

Practice tracking, flick shots, 180s and then tracking again, try to consistently head shot everything.

Each time, try something harder and harder until you are satisfied.

Are you one of those epic /lolg/ reddit infiltrators that has now moved on to an even more casual game?

My guess is that they place too much importance on medals and that's swinging it, whenever our DPS guy goes for 3-4 golds he gets at least a full ranked level. I understand that making a proper MM system is tough and grading people on their performances is also difficult in a team game but what they have now is lazy and counter intuitive.

I've also noticed that in games that we win via stomps the DPS players on the team get WAY more ranking out of it than myself as the support, possibly because I'm not healing as much or using my ults. I assume in their system it thinks I'm not meeting my classes designated statistics for that round but in reality I'm doing mountains of work to keep people alive and make the game a stomp in the first place.

If it wasn't for golden weapons I wouldn't even bother with ranked now.
