Pyro is good in PvE. Just not so much in PvP.

They probably were trying to think better ways than something like humanity in 1. If pyro scaled only with flame, then allowing it to be as good as other spells would be unfair to those schools and if it wasn't as good, then pyromancy would be unable to stand by itself.

The entire point is that pyromancy wasn't supposed to be as good as the others. It should have no tracking, shorter range, arcing projectiles, etc.

I'd personally like to see damage increase and efficiency decrease with the three spear miracles the more powerful the miracle. Allowing, given enough time, Lightning Spear to outdamage even Sunlight Spear due to a much greater fp/damage ratio..

Currently level 64 and just beat Scorpioness Najka. That whole area fucking sucked. Decided to summon an NPC for it because the Quelaag-but-not-fun shit was silly and I have no way to fight toxic if I get hit.

I'm unsure how I feel about Dark Souls 2 introducing all the shit it does. It introduces a lot of generic fantasy tripe. Dwarves, goblins, trolls. Expecting elves to pop up any second now.

Regret going melee, to be honest. I prefer being a dickass wizard.
