I've beaten Halo 1-3 three times within two days, and just beat 4 right now all for one fucking achievement. I feel so empty, /hg/

But yeah, achievements are really fucking lame. I want to get them even though I know they're fucking pointless and meaningless. It's weird. I guess if anything they serve as a "progress meter" or something that reminds you of how much you've done in a game.

No, I've already had the legendary ones. It was the Master Chief Saga playlist achievement, but it glitched up twice and I had to reset it both times. I don't really care for achievements that much but I do like going for them, and Halo is one of my favorite series so why not go for the complete on MCC.

I can't even fathom 100 percenting MCC.

there's just so fucking many achievements. And LASO, holy shit. I had to take a break from gaming for weeks after doing halo 2 legendary solo, I could never do LASO.

Yeah, I'm not looking foward to LASO one bit, but it'll just take time. Good thing about MCC is most achievements are just really easy filler ones that take maybe 5-10 minutes each. I've went from 50ish to 77% done with it, and it's pretty fun when it works. Probably gonna take a small break from it and maybe play some FF though.

I think they're doable, but they're going to be time consuming. I'm not sure if any are cheesable. Hopefully I can grab some /hg/ guys and go to BTB when I get ready to grind them.

I think that aside from a few problems, 343 has done a good job make the tone so different from the original trilogy. The human covenant war is over. And there's no longer any glory in the fighting that needs to be done. There's thousands of competing arms companies restarting and cropping up again, all providing their own variants to military equipment and Spartans aren't so special anymore. Humans are starting to fight again, as in the nature. There's no longer a necessity for all leaders to be at the peak of competence, and all the vacancies left from the war are being filled with rookies and retards.

The post war bliss has gone to humanities collective head, even with the Prometheans running around. It's frustrating for everyone that survived the Human Covenant war, and it's frustrating for the players who did as well.

On the other hand it could just be me trying to make the abysmal story not hurt so much. I'm assuming its all been intentional on 343s part, when maybe its not and they're all just total retards. Hell, after Spartan Team Osiris' performance in Halo 5, if ANY of them die in the future it will be very hard to justify it, as they spent the entire game seemingly invincible.
