Kinda late but this needs clearing up i think. Blooms\pure node\whatever don't stop the spread on it's Y coordinate exclusively or whatever you're thinking. You slap on a bloom and it's an impenetrable 9x9 wall from bedrock up to sky

Ive been branch mining for almost 2 hours now and i cant find any diamonds but i got tons of coal, iron and redstone. I wont be able to make a quarry at this rate. And my fingers hurt.

I know there is another way to get diamonds through ic2 but i have no idea how to do it

Protip: Just make it with dirt/stone/cobble first and keep track of how many stacks you use. Then use TC wand focus of equal trade or the Botania ripoff to "paint" in the materials you want to use.

A lot of times I build like I'm drawing: cobble outline or "sketch", dirt to define the main shapes (easy to punch out by hand when installing windows) then Equal Trade'ing in the final building materials like a final coat of paint or dark pencil. If I do it any other way, I just get lost halfway through and end up with something shitty.

Had to beef up my ore processing to keep up with the double excavators I have running. Think I might even need to add a few more ovens.

My aluminum stockpile is nearing 2k and there are still 3 other bauxite veins at Cloudbase Alpha.

how to seal off taint in TC4:

>make phials of lucrum essentia (from gold coins or beans if you can)
>trade until you get a fuckton of silverwood sapplings (shouldn't be too long)
>plant a sappling per chunk around the tainted area, retry if there's no node inside
there you go, taint can't pass trough magical forests with a pure node

Will golems owned by another person attack my golems?

I don't think so. Although I never realized how much I wanted that feature until you just mentioned it.

Normal golems with the guard core just bash any mob that comes too close, non-passives like cows and even villagers included. If you make them into advanced golems however you can specify what kind of mobs they attack. They might attack other players, but I don't think other golems register as mobs for them to attack.

I might be wrong, though. If you can try it out, please do and report back to the thread.

It's not adv. Golems that let you specify mobs, I think it's the ordo upgrade.

Guard golems Will definitely attack other players if not specified. I'm saddened you can't make guard golems follow entities or patrol.
