Why are you defending ArenaNet? You don't have to have played a part of the game to want it respected. What we know so far is enough, they take items that couldn't be added into game loot tables and slap them into the gemstore for profit instead of leaving it behind to be forgotten about or, gasp, add it later? They profit from laziness, it also sheds light into why certain parts of the game seem so void of special loot. Either ArenaNet leaves it behind to be forgotten or sells it on the gemstore. There's silly items in the gemstore that fit right in and then there's armor sets, armor skins, black lion weapon skins (tormented, zodiac, etc), that might've made legit in-game rewards for future content. Chaos gloves too, could've been added to the GW2 version of the Underworld.

They say that there's a huge misconception going on but that mask is literally a back item that drops from the Xera loot chest at the end but used as a mask. Even on the charr model it's nothing special to accommodate for the charr facial proportions, it looks silly as fuck and just like the back item. This would all be fine and dandy if GW2 was a purely Free To Play MMORPG but it wasn't and it isn't. F2P was forced upon us because the game was dwindling in population and ArenaNet didn't want there to be a paywall to play their little HoT "expansion." You need to buy HoT to raid and with the info exposed on the Xera mask, we KNOW they're just tossing items that weren't added as raid rewards over to the gemstore team to sell. Why charge for HoT if you're going to do that?

One of the best methods is doing the AB Octovine meta and opening the grand chests at the end. Not only do you get rares and exotic but karma vials and other things from the meta completion rewards as well like black diamonds and amalgamated gem stones.

It's stupid how fast you make money doing this and they might even nerf it.

Dungeons in this game are utter misery. One wipe and everyone leaves, but no one knows what they're doing so it's a constant stream of wipes regardless. Why bother?
