Mods can't fix an engine made for ground combat user. Bethesda games can't handle large scale formation warfare and that's what makes mounted combat fun. Crashing into a wall of infantry with your horsebros.

Not for warband. Maybe bonerlord one day but desu the warhammer fantasy mod would be more interesting. More varied armor types and enemies.
I don't know it just doesn't feel so satisfying when I could just be sprinting through them with a shield to get the same effect

All right, so I'm looking to get started on a mods list for a new playthrough I'd like to do. I want to focus on conjuration/necromancy as a dark mage pursuing great power. I plan on working with Undeath as an eventual goal. How are the perks/add-ons from Undeath: immersive lichdom?

Also, what overhauls do people like for making necromancy a bit more interesting? I don't want to go as far as the total overhauls done by skyrim requiem, but I'm looking into something like perkus maximus to make spellcasting scale better and be a bit more interesting.

Any suggestions are welcome.
