Some of the blame can be placed on players aswell. If you werent a top clan and landed and chipped someone you could bet your ass all there allies would chip you and that land so you had to play through a tourney just to fight the land holder and wait for the tourney on your land to end just to try and keep it. In short Non-aggression pacts and top clan alliances also killed CW

Thing is, the 90>100% grind is so low that its really worthless. If you were retraining like a 2nd or 3rd skill then i would be fine, but anything lower is more or less a waste. Plus i like having crews to have the same amount of skills autism is a powerful thing

Not really. Evading torps before you even spot them is incredibly easy. And if you are really that worried about torps, there are captain skills and ship upgrades that let you spot them from a safer range.

Arty and torps have nothing in common.

Carriers are pretty similar to arty, in that they can bully nignogs from across the map with little repercussions (or use of WASD), but carriers in WOWS (last I played at least) are 100 times more fair than arty in WOT, mainly because you get fucking warnings when you`re being bullied by one, plus you can shoot down planes (can`t shoot down orbital laser cannons).
