all I can say is, if you go to that sort of event, don't go too much on the side, or too close, because then the screen effect is lessened. Also in real life it works nive because you eyes are at the level of the rendering, and not from above like the youtube vids.

I was looking on ebay for Splatoon merchandise and these ones are from SDCC 2015. Dunno about the hats with the other logos on them.

It sure would be nice if Nintendo sold those and other merch styled like the things you would find ingame. Those ones they were selling around when the game launched were pretty ugly.
